Happy Holidays!
To quote a classic Christmas song, “May your days be Merry and Bright”- Not Rushed and Dazed. Which is common for those that decided to postpone their Christmas shopping list until the last minute. Usually I try to get all my Christmas Shopping done in November, so I can enjoy the holiday season. But this year, Christmas crept up and before I knew it November was over. December had begun, and so did my Christmas shopping. Frantic, I ran around, trying to find gifts for family and friends. Up until today, I finally accomplished what was not an easy task. Stores were overcrowded, a lot of cars honking and cutting people off. Needless to say it was quite stressful. So, I thought I would compile a list of last minute gifts that you can pick up on your way back home, or a guide for next year!
All of which I have tried, love, and would recommend!
For the Weary Traveler:
1.Iphone– Handy travel apps, unlimited data, Reading app(Kindle), Games, and so on makes for a great travel gadget. Perfect for those pesky layovers in the airport.
2.Digital Camera– Nikon Coolpix(Yes, the Ashton Kutcher ones) – The one I am speaking of is light weight, has good features, video and so on. I got mine on Black Friday for 88 dollars, so keep an eye out for those deals! A great camera for an great price.
3.MoleSkin Travel Notebook – great for jotting down your favorite bistro so you can recommend to friends, writing notes on long train rides and so forth.
4.Ebags– Weekender Etech Convertible Backpack– Perfect for a carry-on bag- Lightweight, versatile and lots of pockets. Did I mention lightweight? Even with all of your stuff filled to the brim.
5.Travel Adapter- a necessity for travelers, if someone you know doesn’t have one and they are planning on a trip abroad. They would definitely need one of these.
6.Travel Adapters- For the IPHONE- I stumbled across these on a website called Dealextreme.com. I haven’t tried these yet, but you can be sure I will soon! Included are adapters for US,EU, and UK. They can be used for the Ipod, any generation of Iphones, and so on. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.29190
7.Travel Books- For an example Where To Go When (Eyewitness Travel Guides, for those who can’t decide what their next adventure will be.
8.You can’t go wrong with gift cards– Pick one up for Jetblue, target, Magellan, and so on. They will be glad they can stock up travel supplies for their upcoming trips.
9. Zoom Attachment for the IPhone– Again, I haven’t tried these yet, but you can be sure it is on my Christmas list! Attach them to your Iphone, and zoom in to get a good snapshot on your trip abroad!
