After more than a decade of service, EA will be shutting down the servers for the last-gen versions of Burnout Paradise soon. In a post on EA’s official Facebook page, it gave a message to fans confirming the August 1, 2019 shutdown date for all online functionality in its open-world racer. “Thanks to the lingering hardcore few for staying with us,” the post reads. “You’ve got 106 days (or so) to finish all those barrel-roll challenges!”

To clarify, this will only affect the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the original Burnout Paradise. The remastered port released last year will still remain online and fully functional for the foreseeable future. Offline play will still be available and any DLC you purchased will remain on your account for redownload.
