Those who have played titles like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail will be well aware of the performance potential of miHoYo when it comes to delivering hits. However, Zenless Zone Zero is different from these titles in terms of the core theme and gameplay aspects. For example, the new project has multiplayer elements, albeit in a limited fashion. Many have been wondering about whether the title has critical features like cross-play and cross-platform.

Does Zenless Zone Zero have cross-play?

The new game does offer cross-play support across all available platforms. However, it’s best to expect the feature in a limited manner due to how multiplayer works so far, which can change in the future. I hope more multiplayer content will be released in the upcoming months as part of new updates. But there isn’t an ETA or official roadmap, so gamers should wait and watch.

Does Zenless Zone Zero have cross-progression?

Thanks to cross-progression, you can use the same account to play on multiple devices. This makes it easy for everyone, as they don’t have to grind the same thing twice or more just because they’re playing on multiple devices.

This feature is available on all platforms, including PlayStation. However, there’s an extra step for players on Sony’s console – they will need to have their PSN account linked with the in-game account. This is mandatory, and there’s no alternative for this step if you want to enjoy the cross-progression feature.

I have been a big fan of how miHoYo has included cross-progression in their games. This becomes extremely important as my PC has better hardware capabilities, and there’s no worry of the battery running out. On the other hand, the possibility of carrying over all your progress to mobile devices allows for portability when needed.

While Zenless Zone Zero is off to a great start, some errors have dampened the spirits of the community. If you’re stuck in the shader loading screen, make sure to check this guide out.
