Disney Dreamlight Valley 2024 Roadmap: Who’s coming to the Valley?

Exciting times are ahead

Disney Dreamlight Valley is constantly evolving and growing thanks to regular updates from Gameloft, and we can get a hint as to what’s coming from roadmaps. Although we’re partly into 2024, we can still get an idea of what’s to come from the latest one, so let’s take a look.

It’s worth noting that while the clues in this roadmap may seem fairly straightforward and, well, obvious, there is no confirmation from Gameloft as to the identities of new characters coming as of yet. While I’d place bets that what I’m going to say is likely accurate, it shouldn’t be taken as gospel.

What to expect from the first Disney Dreamlight Roadmap 2024 Roadmap

A vibrant new villager

Considering that Donald has been throwing tantrums all over the Valley from day one, along with the incredibly heavy hint that is the photo here, this is likely to be Daisy Duck. She’s one of the only classic Disney characters missing from the Valley.

Eagle eyed players will have noticed that at present, her boat appears to be stuck high up in The Groves on Eternity Isle, but as this is included in the free update it’s unlikely that you’ll need to have purchased A Rift in Time in order to gain Daisy for your Valley.

A very lucky villager and a new Dynasty to explore

For those who have purchased the DLC, we’re given a hint about a ‘very lucky villager.’ Considering that the roadmap talks of a ‘Dynasty,’ this is likely to be Mushu – the lucky dragon from Mulan.

And where Mushu goes, Mulan is not far behind. This seems true in this roadmap, too, as a new Realm looks to be opening in late Spring.

A new princess brings culinary delights

Tiana and Naveen

There’s no mistaking this one, considering the fact that her face is displayed clearly on the poster – Tiana, from The Princess and the Frog, will be arriving in the Valley in Summer. We already have the ability to make Beignets, but hopefully, she’ll come armed with a long list of new recipes from the Bayou!

Finally, after a long wait, those who own the DLC will finally get to progress further with Jafar’s story on Eternity Isle. At present, he’s holed himself away in his palace after talking about The Spark of Imagination deep below the island, so we may finally be able to figure out what that is and how we can use it.
