Despite Stardew Valley 1.6 being only five days in, ConcernedApe is already teasing 1.6.3

Clint to learn the art of multitasking

Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update was only released five days ago at the time of writing, but ConcernedApe shows no signs of resting or taking any time away from developing. We got used to daily teasers on Twitter before 1.6, and now there’s another one.

Not even a week after the release of the huge 1.6 update, Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone is back at the teasers once again, this time sharing what might be one of the most necessary quality-of-life updates that Stardew Valley has so desperately needed.

Until this point, if you’ve handed your tools over to Clint in order to upgrade them, you’ve been unable to access his shop or process any Geodes (or Mystery Boxes) in the time it takes for him to complete the upgrade, but this is soon to be a thing of the past.

Thanks to this tweak coming in 1.6.3, even if you’ve given Clint your Pickaxe (or any tool), you’ll be able to purchase items and break open those precious Geodes in order to get to what’s inside. Finally, Clint is learning the art of multitasking.

Players have responded to this teaser in their droves, thanking ConcernedApe for this huge change, with some even going as far as to say, “there is a God” in response.

With no release date set for 1.6.3, who knows what other tidbits of information ConcernedApe will throw our way, but hopefully, there’s nothing as bizarre as chugging Mayonnaise.
