Best Navia builds in Genshin Impact

Min-max your gunbrella.

Navia is a 5-star Geo Claymore DPS who specializes in Crystallize teams. With the right build, Navia is capable of some explosive damage. Here are the best weapons and artifacts for Navia in Genshin Impact!

Navia’s best weapons

Verdict
Unsurprisingly, Navia’s best weapon is her 5-star signature Claymore: Verdict. It offers a valuable CRIT Rate secondary stat and has a tailor-made passive effect that increases Skill damage after obtaining Crystallize shards. It’s also a perfect aesthetic match for Navia with its yellow and navy color scheme and unique axe shape.

Beacon of the Reed Sea
Beacon also has a CRIT Rate secondary stat and a passive that works surprisingly well with Navia. When a Skill hits an enemy, Navia’s ATK receives a buff. Since Navia uses her Skill to activate her Geo-infused Normal Attacks, the buff is very much appreciated.

Serpent Spine
Despite being a 4-star, Serpent Spine performs better than some 5-stars as long as Navia is able to maintain its passive effect. Serpent Spine’s passive buffs Navia’s damage the longer she goes without taking damage. She’ll be relying on Crystallize shields to protect her, so she may lose a stack here or there, but as long as you make some effort to dodge, you should be fine. Pre-stack its passive effect by putting Navia in the first team slot and waiting a few seconds before starting a challenge. Refinements are valuable, and high-refinement Serpent Spine can out-damage Beacon. Serpent Spine is obtained through the Battle Pass, though, and you may not want to shell out $10-50 USD for a weapon.

Redhorn Stonethresher / The Unforged / Wolf’s Gravestone / Skyward Pride
These are 5-star stat sticks that provide CRIT, ATK, or Energy Recharge. Their passives are marginally useful, but aren’t very potent (Redhorn/Pride) or have limited uptime (Unforged/WGS). Still, if you happen to have a spare of these weapons in your inventory, you can put it to good use on Navia.

Tidal Shadow / “Ultimate Overlord’s Mega Magic Sword”
These are 4-star Claymores that are more easily accessible. Tidal Shadow is a Fontaine craftable weapon that works well as long as Navia is paired with a healer. The, uh, other one can be obtained as a free reward from the Version 4.3 event Roses and Muskets. It’s passive scales with how many Melusine side quests you’ve done, so if you haven’t explored Elynas yet, it’s time to get cracking.

Navia’s best artifacts

Artifact sets

4pc Nighttime Whispers in the Echoing Woods
This artifact set was clearly made with Navia in mind. Its 2pc effect buffs ATK and its 4pc effect buffs Geo DMG after using a Skill. The Geo DMG buff is doubled when protected by a Crystallize shield. The other artifact set in this domain has limited usefulness though, so unless you’re a Navia main, you might not want to go out of your way to farm a brand-new 4pc set.

4pc Golden Troupe (4GT)
This set requires Navia to interrupt or shorten her on-field combos in order to maintain its 4pc Skill buff. Still, if you can master the awkward rotations, it’s a great option for Navia. Don’t just use Navia’s Skill and swap, though; she really needs to do Normal Attacks to make her DPS worth it. If you happen to have Furina, though, you might want to consider 4pc Marechausee Hunter instead.

4pc Marechausee Hunter (4MH)
If you have Furina, try 4MH instead of 4GT. The 36% CRIT Rate buff is no joke, making this set almost as good as 4pc Nighttime Whispers. However, it locks Navia to teams with Furina, so it’s up to you whether you want to limit your Navia teams to a specific teammate.

2pc combos
If all else fails, you can mix and match sets that provide Geo DMG, Skill DMG, ATK, or Energy Recharge. Depending on the spare artifacts you have, you might have a serviceable 2pc/2pc combo already.

I find Navia comfortable with around 145-160% Energy Recharge if she has another Geo teammate. She’ll need more Energy Recharge if you forgo a second Geo unit. You can reduce this number if you have someone holding a Favonius weapon.

Once Energy needs are met, focus on CRIT and ATK stats. Despite being a Geo character, Navia does not scale with DEF.
