Like any massive launch, server issues usually wreak havoc when players flood the servers for the first time. However, there are also instances where the devs temporarily take down the servers for maintenance. Regardless of why XDefiant might not be working properly, here is everything you need to know.

XDefiant server status

The XDefiant servers are currently offline on XDefiant. Don’t panic, however, as this is expected downtime as the developer introduces the Y1S0.3 patch to the game, which adds sniper flinch and aim penalties for players who spam the jumping or crouching mechanics.

The downtime is expected to last for one hour, and once the patch has been fully deployed, the servers will come back up and you’ll be able to jump into matches again.

How to check XDefiant server status

Ubisoft always provides updates on Twitter if there are server issues or scheduled server maintenance. Players can also check Down Detector if they suspect issues. Sometimes Down Detector will detect the problem faster, so that might be the best option to check first. Other community hubs like Reddit can also provide updates on server status problems.
