There are six Queen’s Blood players to beat in Junon in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, ranging from Ranks X to X. You’ll find opponents will start to play a little better here, and you’ll probably want to start modifying your deck a bit if you haven’t already.

Isabelle

Rank: 3

Location: Under Junon

Reward: Card #96: Shiva

Strategy: You might start to see some new mechanics against Isabelle, and some degree of planning. Don’t worry too much, though. Her deck lacks a bit in firepower compared to big cards you might have at this point, like Titan. Secure the board against her, and you’ll rake in a fancy new legendary card in Shiva.

Zogan

Rank: 4

Location: Under Junon

Reward: Card #024: Zemzelett

Strategy: Zogan has some empowering cards, like Cactuar and the Crab, that you might be familiar with. Don’t fret too much, though. Board control can still win the day, and net you a fancy new Zemzelett for your Queen’s Blood collection.

The Moore Twins

Rank: 4

Location: Under Junon

Reward: None / Card #021: Ogre

Strategy: First off, you might have some trouble spotting these two. They’re located upstairs, past the Maghnata Books. They also involve some extra stakes: some gil lost if you lose. Additionally, you’ll have to beat both the Moore Twins to take the win. Your reward for this isn’t all that great, but you’ll need to beat them both to keep climbing the Queen’s Blood ranks, so teach those kids a lesson.

Michaela

Rank: 4

Location: The Crow’s Nest

Reward: Card #027: Mindflayer

Strategy: At this point, my strategy of grabbing a bunch of tiles and letting Shiva Diamond Dust the board was working wonders. Secure the space, and you’ll net a Mindflayer, a potentially new kind of card for you that can actively enfeeble other cards. We might not need that right now, but it will become an archetype you’re very familiar with by the end of your Queen’s Blood journey.

Neil

Rank: 4

Location: The Crow’s Nest

Reward: Card #30: Flametrooper

Strategy: Neil shouldn’t quit his day job for Queen’s Blood, but you can toast him pretty easily for his card, the Flametrooper. This card can do some surprising damage on the field, if the enemy puts up a bit of a wall. Keep it in mind if you end up going into the destroy deck archetype.

Cameron

Rank: 4

Location: The Crow’s Nest

Reward: Card #113: Midgardsormr

Strategy: At some point in this region, you’ll clear enough opponents to reach Rank 3, a.k.a. “Blood Squire.” Once you do, Chadley will contact you and let you know that a talented local by the name of Cameron is waiting to challenge you. These “story matches” are as necessary to advancing as beating the regular QB competitors, so head to the Crow’s Nest and challenge Cameron.

In my game, he was a surprisingly aggressive player who tried to storm into my side of the board early. Counter him in kind, and try to use some big bodies and empowering cards to beat his quantity with your quality. Clear it, and you’ll get both a big story cutscene and the card for Midgardsormr.

With Cameron and the rest of the Junon bunch cleared, you should be moving on up to Rank 4 in Queen’s Blood and achieving the title “Blood Acolyte.” With this, you’re ready for whatever gets thrown at you on the way to Corel and beyond, even a nautical QB tournament. Surely you won’t run into one of those.
