It’s now official – superstar Christian McCaffrey will be present on the cases of Madden 25 as he has been selected as this year’s cover star athlete.
There were several candidates, and the speculations have been intense during the last few days. However, the results are now in, and EA Sports has undoubtedly picked a suitable candidate. The 49ers running back has been a phenomenal performer over the years and was selected as the OPOY last season.
Christian McCaffrey could certainly boost sales of Madden 25
2024 will be a big year for EA Sports as far as American Football is concerned. July will witness the launch of EA Sports College Football 25, while Madden 25 is expected to be released globally in August. So far, fans have been waiting for the cover athlete reveal, and Christian McCaffrey is undoubtedly a great choice.
His stocks have risen further following a trade with the 49ers. McCaffrey’s talent was already evident for many years, and especially in 2019, when the man completed 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards in the same season. This made him only the third athlete to do so, which only shows how unique the achievement is even today.
McCaffrey will hope to go one step further next season, after losing to the Kansas City Chiefs at the Superbowl. Last year, he also led the charts in terms of rushing yards, but a victory at the Superbowl will have been remarkable. Hopefully, he will manage to lead his side to the coveted title next year.
